Assassins V: Who Watches the Watchers?

Welcome to the fifth game of assassins to be hosted on this site. While this game is technically one of assassins, I will be using the mafia flavour. It is listed as assassins due to some roles that have not been seen before and some slight changes to the rules.

Rules:
  • Common Game Type: Open
  • Common Action Timestamp: No Surprises
  • Common Voting Type: Timed Lynch
  • Common Tie Breaker: LHLV
  • Alternate Ghost Etiquette: Dead Men Tell No Tales
  • Common Game Start: Hospitalization
  • Common R0 Peeks: Random Negative
The first two basic rules will be in effect.
The third basic rule is not used in this game. Quicktopics will be created where private communication is required, there will be no private communication outside of any quicktopics I create for this game. You must use your ND username when speaking in the quicktopics, other than in the mafia quicktopic(see below).
The mafia will be permitted to use a name of the format 'Mafia #', this will be detailed in their role messages
It is not permitted to directly quote from any quicktopics. The only exception to this is the mafia quoting something in their quicktopic which was taken from another quicktopic.
A new version of each quicktopic will be created at the start of each day
All quicktopics will be made available at the end of the game.
You are not allowed to delete posts from quicktopics. (rule added during R0)

This game is not speedplay. Phases will last 24h each, other than R0. R0 will end when I have the mafia kill

Roles:
  • Witness
    • The game contains one witness
    • The witness wins with the village
    • The witness is provided with access to the mafia team quicktopics. They may not post in them
  • Neighbourizer
    • The game contains two neighbourizers
    • The neighbourizers win with the village
    • The neighbourizers are able to recruit one person every other round, allowing them access to a quicktopic which is shared by all of the people recruited by that neighbourizer
    • The neighbourizer recruit has no effect on alignment
    • One neighbourizer can act on odd numbered rounds, the other on even numbered rounds. They will be informed of this in their role messages
  • Mason
    • The game contains three masons
    • The masons win with the village
    • The masons know eachother at the start of the game and are provided with a quicktopic
    • The masons believe the spy to be a mason (see below)
  • Cop
    • The game contains one cop
    • The cop wins with the village
    • The cop may peek one player each night. At the start of the next day, they will be informed if the player they peeked is Mafia or Not mafia
  • Doctor
    • The game contains one doctor
    • The doctor wins with the village
    • The doctor may save one person each night. This will protect that player from the mafia kill that night
    • The doctor is allowed to save the same person more than one night in a row
  • Godfather
    • The game contains one godfather
    • The godfather wins with the mafia
    • The godfather will show up as Not mafia if peeked by the cop
  • Spy
    • The game contains one spy
    • The spy wins with the mafia
    • The spy does not start the game knowing the other members of the mafia.
    • The spy does not have access to the mafia quicktopic until the mafia discover who the spy is (see below)
    • The spy starts the game knowing the names of the masons
    • The spy has access to the mason quicktopic
  • Mafia Watcher(need a name for this)
    • The game contains one mafia watcher
    • The mafia watcher wins with the mafia
    • The mafia watcher can watch one person each night. At the start of the day, they will be given a list of players who targeted that player last night
    • If the mafia watcher chooses to watch the spy, the spy will be revealed to the mafia at the start of the day. The spy will also be provided with the names of the mafia and access to the mafia quicktopic
  • Janitor
    • The game contains one janitor
    • The janitor wins with the mafia
    • The janitor can choose to clean up the mafia's kill each night. Doing this will conceal the role of the player that the mafia killed that night
    • The mafia will still learn the role of the dead player
    • The janitor may use this power three times during the game
  • Busdriver
    • The game contains one busdriver
    • The busdriver wins with the mafia
    • The busdriver can target two players each night. Any other players targeting one of those players will target the other player instead
    • Players are not informed that they were redirected
  • Unlyncher
    • The game contains one unlyncher
    • The unlyncher wins by ensuring that one player is not lynched during the game
    • The player that must be protected is chosen at random at the start of the game. It is not possible for the unlyncher to have to protect themselves
    • The unlyncher does not have to survive in order to win
Roles will be determined at random.
If you are not one of these roles, you are a villager. I will try to send out a message to the villagers, but if I miss you and you do not get a role, you are a villager.
This roleset may change depending on the nimber of players.
