Can´t start Gta IV

Your graphics card is too weak to run the game. You should either get new GPU or pc with shader model 3, but the gpus nowadays have 5.0 or higher.

Check the minimum system requirements? For GTA IV that is

OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / Windows XP - Service Pack 3
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHz
Memory: 1.5GB XP / 1.5GB Vista
Graphics: 256MB Nvidia 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900

You could try to verify integrity of game cache to see if maybe a file got corrupted.

Each game has minimun requirements lol. For many it's just low. But if you buy, let's say, more expensive games, with better graphics, they usually have higher requirements. So if you have an older PC, you should check if you can run them beforehand.

It's like buying something expensive but never really sure if you will use it.

or u can either buy it and DIY install it urslef my uncs did it for me when i couldent play crysisi 3(i dotn know if u can buy graphics card)
