GENERAL INFORMATION

Tournament Format
Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Team: 5v5 + 1 Substitutes
Competitive type: Single Bracket

Game Settings
Game mode: 5v5
Rounds per match: Best out of 1
Maps: Mirage, Dust2, Inferno (Teams will drop 1 map each and the remaining one will be played)
Game Server Location: Germany, France, Sweden, UK, Netherlands (Teams will drop 2 locations each and the remaining one will be the game server location)
Timeouts allowed: 3
Timeout length: 45 secs
Dead talk: On

On Finals will be the same game settings with these 2 exceptions;
Rounds per match: Best out of 3
Maps: Mirage, Dust2, Inferno, Cache, Nuke, Overpass, Train, Agency, Office

Notice me; The Tournament will be played through FACEIT and it requires you to download FACEIT Anti-Cheat as well.

RULES

At the time of posting, participants must have at least 20 hours of gameplay on nD servers in order to be eligible.
When in doubt about any aspect of the ruling, or if you have any questions, have only your Team CAPTAIN contact an admin before you or your team does anything.
An Admins decisions must be respected and executed without delay.

# Quick rules
All players must be present on the server before the tournament will start.
Always and only use the English language in general chat.
Any type of racism, sexism, harass, hate speech, flame and/or personal attacks will not be tolerated.

# Cheating
Players caught cheating will be penalized. Cheating in Counter-Strike includes, but is not limited to, all kinds of aimbots, wallhacks, sound hacks, no recoil, no smoke, no flash, colored models, ambient occlusion, etc.

# Nickname
Each player has to use a nickname that is similar to the nickname entered in during registration. You are not allowed to change your nickname in-game.

# Warmup
To start the match all contestants have to type “!ready” in the chat.

# Choice of side
A knife round will be played to determine the side. This is forced by the server. The winner of this knife round will choose the side.

# Overtime
Playing overtime is mandatory and will be forced by the server. The overtime will be played MR3 (maximum of 6 played rounds) with $10.000 start money. For the start of the overtime, teams will stay on the side which they played the previous half on, during half-time sites will be swapped. Teams will continue to play overtimes until a winner has been found.

# Bomb
To plant the bomb in a way that it cannot be reached anymore is forbidden. Places that can be reached with the help of a team mate are allowed. Violating this rule will result in the deduction of 3 rounds.

# Climbing
Climbing with the help of team mates is in general allowed. Not allowed are positions where textures disappear in walls or grounds if a special movement (e.g. a jump) is required.

# Boosting, sky walking, sharking
Boosting through walls, ceilings or the ground, invisible pixels or surfaces, sky walking, map swimming, floating and sharking are all forbidden.

# Grenades
Throwing grenades inside walls is not allowed. Throwing them above walls and roofs is allowed.

# Self-Kills
Self-kills by console in order to shorten the round time is strictly forbidden.

# Other
The use of bugs is in general not allowed. Should a bug that is not listed be used, an admin will decide if a penalty is necessary.

# Team Names
Please fill in your team name accordingly. It cannot contain any racist or any other language which might be considered as insulting. Team captains ignoring this rule can end up with a ban from matchmaking.

By entering the tournament, the player/team fully agrees to all of the rules without reserve.

Can you swap out Inferno? It requires no skill to play, literally every area is a chokepoint. Would be better with cache perhaps? More open, allows for more gun fights.

And yeah 2 timeouts 60 seconds each seems reasonable, don't need 1 big timeout.

I would disagree with the swap. One, inferno is one of the most played maps. Two Cache makes everyone's pc go potato, not saying that I have a problem playing it, but if we're playing on faceit + on cache that'll probably drop some good fps from some people. Three you could always have your team leader just pick it out first. I personally enjoy the map from the gameplay I've seen on it, as long as you work as a team you should be able to execute and play the map with ease. + it's neither extremely t-sided nor ct-sided

Other than the swap, I could agree. 1 timeout will not cut it. I would say at least 2 long 60 secs or 4 shorter 45 secs timeout like pleiboi said.

True. I changed it to 3 timeouts per team with 45 seconds duration each.

Inferno will not get removed. As Romeo said, If team doesn't want that map, they can drop it.

True. I changed it to 3 timeouts per team with 45 seconds duration each.

Thanks and regarding map picks, why not add all the current active duty map pool and veto it between the captains of each teams like in official matches. Hope the suggestion helps, thanks.
