Mouse

Post by Makita »

I haven't played cs 1.6 in a while and now whenever I join a server I am feeling uncomfortable with my mouse and not because I haven't played it in a while, but my aim is feeling weirdly different. I thought it was just a minor thing, but lately it has been frustrating me a lot. I cannot even explain what the problem really is, but I am 100% sure that something changed with my mouse settings. My mouse feels so weird now that evertime I shoot or strafe in-game it keeps me questioning myself if something is wrong with the mouse. It kinda feels laggy and it is not moving properly..? If somebody could help me solve this I would appreciate it, thanks.

Just a quick question.
Does this problem occur in all games or just CS 1.6?

I changed my sensitivity several times and still the same issue, it’s like my mouse is not reacting the way I want it to.

Might be a silly question, but are you using m_rawinput 1?

Not a silly question at all. I have raw input disabled, people told me to disable it since it has quite an influence on your mouse, but still nothing has changed..

Try this kind of mouse setup out in your CS unless you've already got the same (or similar) one. Only leave mouselook and mousefilter on.
