#1 Post NeonDragon Breaking the Law

Rules for the trading area

1. That means anything virtual or services that can be done over the internet can be offered or sold. For example nD$ <-> nD VIP, nD$ <-> Steam Gift, and so on.

At the time of writing, September 7, 2018, NeonDragon.net does not have a gambling commission operating license. Blackjack is a form of fixed odds betting, currently offered to minors in the jailbreak server. By allowing the exchange of NeonDragon cash, which can be acquired through blackjack, for items of value, NeonDragon is breaking the law.

For more information visit https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk

I'll give you 48 hours to add a rule in compliance with the law before I report the community and the owner to local authority.

Since neondragon itself is not offering to sell nD$ in exchange for real money, I don't think it breaks any laws.

nD is kinda like my Grandma, it's way beyond its experation date, mentally it's reached childhood again and it sometimes soils itself. But it just won't die.

#8 Post Re: NeonDragon Breaking the Law
By the way, Neondragon is technically breaking the law, but the Crown Prosecution Service is unlikely to launch an investigation into the matter as his gross monthly profits are, I imagine, lesser than 30-40 Pounds.
Code:
Section 4
1(1)
of the Act states that a person commits an offence if in the course of a business he manufactures, supplies, installs or adapts gambling software unless he acts in accordance with an operating licence. This provision has been in place since the Act came into force in September 2007.

https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/P ... ftware.pdf

Therefore, he doesn't need to be making money directly. He requires a license just for making and maintaining the gambling system.

Could we make a bigger package and a multiban to get rid of more guys like him?

If you think that that tiny little document even begins to cover a fraction of a fraction of the legislation around gambling in the UK you have a lot of reading up to do. Just because you watched a fucking lawyer series on netflix doesn't mean you understand jack shit about the law.

Saying something doesn't make it true. If you believe this isn't against the law, please do enlighten us with the reasons behind your opinions.

And that "tiny little document" of five pages which has been prepared by legal experts is the only source of information on licenses for creating gambling software.

It's naive and outright dishonest to pretend little kids do not gamble or use the blackjack system in the jailbreak server. How do you think Jessi got his professional knife?

Konijn wrote:

No one claimed you allow the exchange of NeonDragon cash for money. What you allow and have a forum section for is the exchange of NeonDragon cash for items of value, such as gift cards or "anything virtual or services that can be done over the internet". Those items have a real world value.

Those that want to paint me as a villain will find a way to target me no matter what I say. I'll ignore them as they bring nothing to the discussion. For the few with a legitimate interest in the legal side of jailbreak gambling, like @Cruxell, you'll enjoy reading the Gambling Commission's Virtual currencies, eSports and social casino gaming page.

Get the fuck out fam.
Everyone been nice to you, but you had to make it personal as fuck, we told you to chill it's just a game and now you want to report us to the FBI lol, Gambling here is allowed for the same reason when friends gather to player Poker Night etc ..
If there was not anyone taking percentage of the winning, then it's legit, nor matter what the gambling tactic been used, blackjack/ poker/ or even the "gamble", I don't like seeing anyone be banned for any reason, but this, you went to far, your hours are counted here, Goodluck.

Get a life man, I don’t understand why you got a problem with neondragon?
Everyone here is trying to have fun but obviously you don’t get it.
You should try to have fun rather than being a wannabe Sherlock Holmes.
