What configs are you using; updaterate, cmdrate, rate?

Take a look at this link and see if it can shed some light on your problem. :)

Have you tried to relocate your internet reciever?
Not the one for the house, but the one for your computer.

No, how do I do that?

And this is only in CS 1.6 everything else is perfectly fine.

Depends on how you recieve your internet.
I have a little box connected to an extension outlets. I moved mine closer to the outlet in the wall to get better connection.

If your reciver is through the outlets in your house, do that.
If it's wifi, try to move the reciever closer to the main internet reciver (the one that gives internet to your entire house).

New internet? Might want to see if your port forwarding is set up? ;)

It allows traffic to get in and out of your router.

I think these are the ports for CS 1.6:

1200-1200 UDP
27000-27015 UDP
27020-27039 TCP

Just go into router admin and add these to your port forwarding and hopefully that's the problem :) Most high speed internet should be able to handle CS 1.6 bandwidth these days.

Ofc you get a high ping since you are far away from where the server is located.

you can try 'rate gl_flipmatrix 1' in console although I don't guarantee it fixes your problem you'll still get a decent ping improvement
