Fat zombie has been made VIP only.
WTF? Fat zombie is VIP only?...
There has been complaints about the zombie class, and it has weird hitboxes, which makes it hard to headshot it, so i nerfed it, made it vip only, and balanced out the stats for the rest of the zombie classes. Everyone used to pick fat zombie, due to how OP it was, compared to the other classes. Along with that, ZR didnt have any good vip features, so by making it VIP-only, we solve 2 problems.
VIP classes are still shit tbh. I have the use the regular because the "VIP" ones don't really fit that well... Also doesn't suit my playstyle :-(

VIPs need more functions available on ZR, you only get DD which pushes your teammates forward and fucks them over, sniper, rtd and the "VIP" classes which are sucky. Moar pls

  • Added a plugin to restrict using fps_override 1, which works the same way as on JB, to avoid certain players gaining an unfair advantage in the game.

  • Removed antidote-gun due to an ammopack exploit. Everyone who exploited it heavily now have minus ndcash, which is the amount they exploited for + a strike.

He made a topic with a few suggestions on how to make the gameplay more enjoyable:
Mr.Mackey wrote:Hello,

Kallekanin suggested that I should make a new topic about this. The prices have to be increased to maintain a nice gameplay. I'm seeing Infection bombs flying up and down in the very first round. The same goes about ZM Madness. My suggestion is the following;

- up the prices with atleast 5 AP;
- limit ZM Madness to 3 or 4 per round;
- and limit bank withdrawals to 3 AP per round.

We could give this a test for about a week to see how things'll pack out. One more thing, there are a lot of jumpscript kiddies ruining the gameplay lately. The ZMs are already overpowered as it is but combine that with a jumpscript cheater, it's a battle we cannot win. I hope that members from other servers could back us up from time to time to fight this abuse.

Mackey.

EDIT: ZM Achievements would be nice too ;)

Since i doubt you'll read what i said on nD private:
Raising the prices of items is not a solution to the problem we have ingame, players will adapt to that change fairly easily but the core problem remains the same.

Having talked with regulars in the past, the solution seems to be the same for everyone:

Limit the number of uses of Madness, increase the price of Madness, increase the price of the Infection Bomb, lower the number of ammos you can take out from the bank to 4, increase the price of the Force Field nade to 15 ammos.

Alright sorry for not remembering a post from several weeks ago..

Anyway, with the increase of item prices, i highly doubt it will make any difference lowering the withdraw limit. People should still have banked AP's to spend, and the current value has worked out just fine for years now. The only imbalance that occured was lowering the prices of certain items last year (which i strongly opposed, but had to accept), something that should be fixed now.

It will make a difference, especially at the very start of each map. People have to play the game instead of calling the bank at anytime. By decreasing the limit to 3 AP withdrawal per round, a lot of people will be forced to actually play the game how it's ment to be. By killing or by infecting.

I agree with Mackey, even though you increased the item prices, it won't affect the shop. People just spam bank get "x" and buy items overpowering players with no effort at all.

And other players will tell you otherwise. Bank is a fun tool for many noobs on the server, who probably wont get as much "legit" AP's as the more experienced players. And as i said, 6 is perfect balance that has worked for years, and through time people have complained that 6 is too less and want a higher withdraw limit. If anything we might consider rasing the withdraw limit instead.
