#1 Post Binds for ndmenu items
Hello VIPs

Lately alot of stuff has been getting into the ndmenu, which makes it fustrating that you have to scroll some ndmenu pages through, to get the items u need. Often its just a matter of seconds before zombies comes and infects you, so you need your items ready as quickly as possible.

So if u wanna give urself the items u need, the fastest way would be to bind a key to one of the ndmenu options.

So here is a list of binds that you can use to acces some of the items faster (typing them in console also works):

Spoiler: show
SLAP - bind key "vip_item 1"
GLOW - bind key "vip_item 2"
DRUG - bind key "vip_item 3"
SKIN - bind key "vip_item 4"
DOUBLE DAMAGE - bind key "vip_item 5"
NOCLIP - bind key "vip_item 6"
REVIVE - bind key "vip_item 7"
FULLHP - bind key "vip_item 8"
AUTOSNIPER - bind key "vip_item 9"
AWP - bind key "vip_item 10"
ANTIGUN - bind key "vip_item 11"
LONGJUMP - bind key "vip_item 12"
SUPER GRENADE - bind key "vip_item 13"
STRIP GRENADE - bind key "vip_item 14"
RTD - bind key "vip_item 15"
FULLKIT - bind key "vip_item 16"
VOTEMAP - bind key "vip_item 17"
VOTEKICK - bind key "vip_item 18"
VOTEBAN - bind key "vip_item 19"

Old and not so good working way, but works:

Basically what you want to do, is binding several commands to 1 key, which you can do using ;

So lets say you want to acces the VIP menu, and skip the front page of the ndmenu, you do the following:

Code:
bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1"

What this command does, is to type ndmenu in the console, and at the same time it selects or "pushes" they key "1" in the menu. Generally if u want your bind to press a number for you in a menu, use the command "menuselect [number]"

So we now have a bind to acces the VIP stuff we want to use much faster, and maybe if we wanna slap a person without entering the ndmenu or we are in desperate need of double damage at the right time and got no time to scroll the ndmenu pages through, we can just bind a key to the item we want to use. That we can do in the following way:

Code:
Slap - bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1;menuselect 1"
Double Damage - bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1;menuselect 5"

What i basically did here, was to check which numbers are assigned to each item in the menu. If u press 1 in the first vip page, u get slap and u press 5 u get double damage. But now we have binded it all into 1 key.

Same thing is the case, if the item you want to use is on the 2nd or 3rd page of the vip menu, you just navigate your way with the key.
Lets say we want to acces the "100 HP" option on page 2 of the ndmenu or the "votemap" option on page 3

Code:
100 HP - bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1;menuselect 9;menuselect 1"
Votemap - bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1;menuselect 9;menuselect 9;menuselect 2"

So remember, if you want to bind a key to a vip option in the ndmenu, first navigate, and notice each button you click to get the item, like pressing 9 to go to next page etc.. and then bind the "path" to this item with a key.

Also if you want auto-close the menu after you selected the item, just add "menuselect 0" at the end of your bind command, like this:

Code:
bind key "ndmenu;menuselect 1;menuselect 3;menuselect 0"

Enjoy!

NOTE: You might have to rebind some of the options, when we add new items to the ndmenu, since the item orders gets moved around.

Then you're doing something wrong. Check whether you use " (1x shift + ') or '' (twice x ') - make sure you use the first method as the second one won't bind it properly. If that doesn't help, PM me or add me on steam and I'll do my best to help you out.

Bump

For the people asking how to bind stuff, this topic explains how you do it. Works for all kinds of menus, just replace ndmenu with the one of your choosing.
