Pfff whenever I turn on my pc discord starts okay? so it used to open before but now it keeps saying checking for updates.. downloading update 1 of 1 and this never ends... it keeps going on and on with this downloading update 1 of 1... anyway to fix this? ty

What I could find is that you go into your AppData folder.

Open Run by pressing the Windows key + R, type in %localappdata%.

Find the Discord folder and go into it, rename the Update.exe to Update1.exe and try again.

search for Task manager in normal windows search, open it. After that choose start Up and you can enable/disable it.
