#1 Post Making KZ more newbie friendly?
I've been counting how many times players have joined the server and in left less than 5 minutes: 17

I've played every day for a week, and most of these players joined the server unable to complete the first jump or were getting stuck on the first section of a map. About 2 asked for help in chat, and after receiving it have stayed (shoutout to infectedsushi) the rest disconnected. Looking at the maps, the statistics are too broad to state which map is the hardest for a newbie to start.

But, the main few techniques players struggled with were:

Crouch Jumps | ±65 | Note: Main killer of players, but always make it after helping them :)
Long Jumps | ±235 units | Note: Quite a few maps that open up with LJ
Confusion | N/A | Note: Some maps are just straight up confusing, with players not knowing the maps - they give up and leave.

~Remember it's not about giving up; it's about trying and determination!

Thank you for spending your time doing this. It would be really helpful for mappers who want to do a kz map.

Out of experience, when i first joined kz I couldn't even jump 200. But after time and a lot of raging (haha) I improved my self. The thing is not how noob you are. The thing is how much you want to improve yourself. Kz is a server where you can practice on your climbing skills with many "easy" but "hard" maps too. You just have to vote for the right map!

wow much respect for you drunken. Taking all your time calculating and helping out others aswell as showing us statistics.
:d
Maybe we can learn from this and in future the maps might be more adjustful for ''newbies'' .

I'm not a fan of these types of post but this one hits it right on the nail.

KZ isn't for everyone though. Making it more newbie friendly might be the right move to be different from the other servers ?

On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate sushi's chances to become a member plz ?
