I am planning to start jogging on a daily basis

Any advice in this matter or do I just literally get out of the house and run for an hour?

My advice would be to find an ambient with clean air. The woods are definitely my favourite. If you can't find such environment, at least try to avoid high traffic areas.
When it comes to equipment, i'd say you don't need any of that BPM(beats per minute) shizzle, if you can take your phone with you to measure time and distance or to play music, then great, that's all you really need IMO.
Also a pair of running shoes would help, i've jogged for long distances with and with-out running shoes and trust me when I say that it DOES make a difference. The rest of the clothing is personal preference.
Other than that, just stay consistent. Start with shorter distances and slowly increase over time.

Edit: I forgot to mention nutrition. Staying hydrated, not only during the jog, but also throughout the day is essential. A meal with carbohydrates (1.5/2 hours) before the jog is recommended.
In case you're going for long distances, take a snack rich in carbs.

you realise that if you suck out all of the fat in parts of your body you're just left with excess skin so in actual fact you would be in a worse position than before as you would need extensive surgery to remove that skin you actual spastic

Isn't it recommended that athletes (what you are aiming to be/already are?) have a little higher fat percentage in their body? Maybe I am wrong D:
