Mafia XXXVII: It's a trap! [GAME OVER]

Hi there!
With the help of Rainboy and Dee Dee I've come this far:

Common Game Type: Open - All rules are posted in the thread and any player may expect answers to any setup questions they ask.
Common Action Timestamp: No Surprises - Voting and actions are held in tight order. Any votes or actions after the deadline will not be counted, even if the Host hasn’t posted Dusk or Dawn yet. Any action not taken will be lost; the Host will not extend a round or give you a random peek or kill. For example, if lynch time is 3PM, all votes and lists submitted on or before 3:00PM ount and all votes or lists submitted on or after 3:01PM will not, even if the Host doesn’t post Sunset until 3:10.
Common Voting Type: Timed Lynch - At the end of a certain amount of time, the player with the most votes is lynched.
Common Tie Breaker: LHLV - In the event of a tie, the player with the Longest Held Last Vote, or LHLV, is lynched. Basically, the player with the most votes just before the tie is lynched. If a player is tied with No Lynch, no player will be lynched regardless of LHLV.
Common Ghost Etiquette: RP Play Style - Once dead, players may post in the thread and join public IRC so long as they don’t make game related posts or comments. They may not PM other players about the game or have private conversations on IRC. If you have data that you’d like to share, please, do so before your death. Dead Mafia/Wolf players are given a partial exception and are allowed to PM other Mafia/Wolves. All players are always free to talk with their Host in private IRC or PM.
Common Game Start: Hospitalization - Before the First Round starts, the Wolves/Mafia will choose one player to attack. That player will not be killed, but will be hospitalized and thus can’t vote in the first round.
Alternate R0 Peeks: No peeps.
Common Death Reveal: Full Reveal - All players, when they die, will have their full role and alignment revealed publicly.
Modkillable Actions: Quoting the host without permission, being inactive for 2 rounds and playing against one’s alignment.

Roles (15-17 players)

Town
Wincon: Eliminate the mafia team
Vigilante - Able to shoot and kill one player during the game
Deputy - May investigate one player each night, learning whether they are mafia or not.
Trapper - May place up to two traps during the game. Traps will roleblock any action targeting the player that has been trapped by the Trapper. The Trapper may move traps after they are placed, but may only place a trap or move a trap each night. Can’t be controlled by the witch.
Transporter - Able to switch two chosen players each round, causing all actions happening to one to happen to the other. May switch himself. Can’t be controlled by the witch.

Mafia
Wincon: Reach parity with the village. Wins with witch.
Mafioso - Has toughness and will survive any action that would otherwise kill him/her.
Hitman - Able to shoot a player, in addition to the regular mafia shot, once per game.
Godfather - Can’t be detected by the Deputy and will be seen as a villager.


Third Party - Isn’t detected by the deputy, doesn’t need to be killed by the town for the town to win and doesn’t count for parity.
Witch - Able to control a player each night and use their ability on another player. Will get full role-information from their target. Wins with mafia, but needs to find them as they won’t know their team. Can’t control the transporter and trapper (will just get role info).
Jester - Game ends with a Jester win if lynched.

Hidden Modifiers - Players are not self-aware to their additional modifiers.
Toughness: Can survive an action that would otherwise kill him. (random normal villager)
Miller: Will be seen as mafia to the Deputy. (random normal villager)
Idiot: Lynch vote counts for nothing. (random villager)

ADDITIONAL INFO

Order of Actions
Lynch → Transporter switch → Traps placed/moved→ Witch control → Hitman shot → Vigilante shot → Deputy peek → Mafia kill

  • Vigilante and Hitman shots will be wasted when targeting a trapped person.
  • If Witch controls a trapped person they will be roleblocked and will not perform their actions.
  • Trapped person won't know he has been trapped by the Trapper unless someone triggers the trap with a killing action.
  • Trapper can't trap self, protection stops all actions targeting the trapped player.
  • If a trap gets triggered it will get destroyed.

It has a learning process like everything in life. It's a fun game and I hope, unlike you, some people will be motivated enough to join and have fun :) And, needless to say, if somebody does not know how to play but wants to learn, they can ask :P
