[S2] Mafia XXXIII: Power Struggle (Redux)

Post by HATER »

Mafia XXXIII: Power Struggle

Normal Setup for 15-16 players.

Village Roles:

Cop: May peek a player each round to see if they are Mafia or Not Mafia.
Doctor: May protect a player each round. May not protect the same player twice consecutively.
Sheriff: May jail a player for one round each round. Jailed players are roleblocked, but are also untargetable. May not jail themselves.

Mafia Roles:

There will be TWO mafia teams. EACH will have the following roles.

Don- May peek a player each round, learning their full role.
(Tough) Godfather -- Is seen as "Village" to the Cop, and "Normal Villager" to an enemy Don. Will survive any one actin that would otherwise kill them.
Gun- May shoot an extra player once per game in addition to the mafia's nightly kill. Will take the role of the first Mafia player to die.

Each mafia team will choose a player to shoot and kill each night. Both teams' shots happen simultaneously.

Third Party

Psychopath -- Wins with either mafia team if alive at the end of the game. May peek 1 player each round to see their full role and will be seen as "Innocent" to the Cop. Will survive any one action that would otherwise kill him.

FBI Agent -- Wins if at the end of the game, he is still alive and the psychopath is dead. Once per game may shoot a player of his choice. Will survive any one action that would otherwise kill him. Is seen as "evil" to the Cop.

Hidden Modifiers:

These modifiers will be applied to players in the game without their knowledge. If a player dies, any hidden modifiers they had will be revealed.

Miller -- Will be seen as Mafia to the Cop (applied to one random non-Cop town player).
Socialite -- Vote counts as double (applied to a random normal villager).
Brute -- Will survive any one death that would otherwise kill them. (Applied to one random normal villager).

Common Game Type: Open - All rules are posted in the thread and any player may expect answers to any setup questions they ask.

Common Action Timestamp: No Surprises - Voting and actions are held in tight order. Any votes or actions after the deadline will not be counted, even if the Host hasn’t posted Dusk or Dawn yet. Any action not taken will be lost; the Host will not extend a round or give you a random peek or kill. For example, if lynch time is 3PM, all votes and lists submitted on or before 3:00PM count and all votes or lists submitted on or after 3:01PM will not, even if the Host doesn’t post Sunset until 3:10.

Common Voting Type: Timed Lynch - At the end of a certain amount of time, the player with the most votes is lynched.

Common Tie Breaker: LHLV - In the event of a tie, the person who had the most votes just before the tie happened is lynched.

Common Ghost Etiquette: RP Play Style - Once dead, players may post in the thread and join public IRC so long as they don't make game related posts or comments. They may not PM other players about the game or have private conversations on IRC. If you have data that you'd like to share, please, do so before your death. Dead Mafia/Wolf players are given a partial exception and are allowed to PM other Mafia/Wolves. All players are always free to talk with their Host in private IRC or PM.

Common Game Start: Hospitalization - Before the First Round starts, the Wolves/Mafia will choose one player to attack. That player will not be killed, but will be hospitalized and thus can’t vote in the first round.

Common R0 Peeks: Random Negative - Every player who can peek is given a random peek from all players who would return "No" or "Innocent" other than the peeker.

Common Death Reveal: Full Reveal - All players, when they die, will have their full role and alignment revealed publicly.

You WILL be immediately modkilled for the following:

-Directly quoting, sharing or screenshotting a private message from the host (me) without permission.
-Being afk (no signs of life in public) for 2 full rounds
-Directly and deliberately throwing the game
You must disregard the statement I am currently making because every statement I make is inherently false.

Do this 2 mafia teams have to reach parity as one or seperated?
If noone comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?
Tough runs don't last, tough Runners do.
