Mafia XI: Basically Awesome

Hey everyone, MMage and Xen are too busy to be bothered with fulfilling their hosting responsibilities at the moment, so Rainboy and I are hoping in with the next Mafia game. We were a bit rushed, so things are pretty basic. Still managed to weave fun interesting twists in here.


Hosts: Shadi and Rainboy
Game Type: Open
Tie Breaker: LHLV
Game Start: Hospitalisation
R0 Peeks: Random Negative
Death Reveal: None (Priest)
Rounds: 48 Hour Speedplay
Ghosting: Dead Men Tell No Tales


16 Player Roleset
Brutal Don
Convict
Brutal Hitman

Deputy
2 Doctors
Priest
9 Villagers

Each of the following secondary roles will be secretly assigned to a random villager (including power roles). A player may also have more than one secondary role.
1x Soothsayer
1x Idiot
1x Brutal
2x Inmate
1x Brute


Notes:
Doctors can protect anyone, even themselves and same player twice in a row.
Doctor protections apply only to the mafia night kill and brutals.
Overdoses apply: if a player is protected twice in two rounds (either by consecutive Doc protection or by both Docs protecting the same guy) the player will die.
Successful protections and survivals will cause the event to not be posted. (If lynch, it will be posted that "someone survived lynch")
Players will be informed of a successful survival, but nobody will be informed if a protection was successful (either protector or protected).
A player cannot be both an idiot and a soothsayer, and cannot have two of the same secondary role. That's just no fun.
The Brutal villager will not know he is brutal until he dies. Thus, all villagers should choose a brutal target each round in the event they are killed.

Removed the Vig and added an overdose rule that will allow the Docs to kill.
Sense? What fun is there in making sense...?

Soothsayer = Vote counts for one more than usual
Idiot = vote doesn't count
Inmate = peeked as mafia although he's not
