Admin Meeting Outcome 17-12-2017

Hello community and merry christmas! We had an admin meeting today and the results are as follows:

• ▬ Majin Vegeta #BB's application for our Jail Team has been Extended.
  ▬ [email protected]$$'s application for our Jail Team has been Extended.
  ▬ StickySteez's application for our Jail Team has been Extended.

Please note that CS GO applicants will be handled at a later date.

• ▬ Potato's trial for our Jail Team has been Accepted.
  ▬ ParalyzedWardog's trial for our CS:GO Team has been Accepted.

• ▬ ZeRo has been granted the permban tool for his excellent report history.

• ▬ Dee Dee has decided to leave our team.
  ▬ KaKao has decided to leave our team.
  ▬ Supercell has decided to leave our team.
  ▬ Uber has decided to leave our team.
  ▬ Voropoulo has decided to leave our Admin team.

Thanks to Dee Dee, KaKao, Supercell, Uber and Voropoulo for their dedication, effort and time they have put in our community!

• ▬ Due to recent events, the CT-application system on discord will be changed. Only members of our discord with the @CTApp role will be able to join our CT-application voice channel. Members with access to handle CT-applications will be able to grant this role and later remove it when the test is done.
  ▬ Forum chatbox will be restricted to a couple of messages in a row per. person. The idea behind this is to avoid spam.
  ▬ Some changes will be made to the spectator system on Jailbreak to prevent ghosting on hns-days. When these changes have been applied it will only be possible to spectate alive CT players.
  ▬ During Christmas and holidays there will be held smaller daily minigames/events with rewards at random times during the day. More info will come about this later so make sure to stay tuned.

Overall good outcomes. It is evident that being a good ex-member will not grant you a freepass back to the team without showing effort.

Basically, the admin who is responsible for both servers has gone missing. We might have to give the task to someone else, but we have a lot of other projects running in the background which is also what delays it.

Umm guys? No offense but seeing my post ( and other 2) I am assuming that activity is the only thing that got us extended. I mean seriously I said that I have exams after that I will be active. Is this about not trusting us? Like cmmon we were Members in the past and we are well educated of the activity rule (assuming it hasn't changed since I left). So I must say after working for so many months with you I did expected a little bit of trust from u guys. No offense

Activity is a key thing we need and I don't see any issue in waiting another month if you really are motivated to rejoin the team. The two of you have barely been active on our servers over the last month and it's just counterproductive to have inactive members in the team. It has nothing to do with trust.

Regarding the HNS spectating change, being able to view only alive CT's oncerns only the CT team or whole playerbase?

It was me again. I made this suggestion like ages ago tbh xDDD. And yeah I am not upset or smth. I am just surprised that literally no one got an accept. Rest the meeting was great.

I think admins had to make that step to see more dedication coming from an applicant which includes activity (the most extended applicants came back recently). I know all of you old members did a good job in the past and you can still be a helping hand without powers for now with moderating and reporting. A month goes by fast.

Only thing which surprised me a bit is that Doeda didn't get the chance too and took an extend. I didn't saw him harm anyone for real with his *kinda* trollling and I would've give him a month too to show he is worth it to get his spot back since I saw him doing a good job in the past as a member. Well Doeda if you still care be helpfull as a regular and reapply again in the nearest future. I believe in you that you can improve on given cons.

Congrats to the members which passed their trial and good luck for the extended ones. Declined ones don't give up and work on the given cons.

Huge thank you Voropoulo & Kakao for all what you did for the community with much effort into it and for sure a huge thank you too to the members which left their position aswell. You'll be missed all.

I think this outcome has been pretty solid.

A couple of things that I’d have liked to see concluded differently.

I do think you could have made almost the exact same reply on doeda’s app with an extend. See if he would exhibit more exemplary behaviour given the message and time to consider that in hindsight. Counter-argument is as a former member he should know but people fall victim to complacency. I know I do.

Voro should have left way earlier. How you were at the beginning of your adminship isn’t the discussion here I’m sure you met your quota at the time. For so long with almost zero activity you stayed on the team, contributing zilch and only adding doubt to the admin position and their function. You hold an admin vote if you use it with zero knowledge or don’t use it surely you know the consequences, surely you’re aware of what regulars think with your lack of presence and from the admin team in general. The minimum requirements for admins need to be stricter! I urge admins that feel they’re lacking in these sectors to step it up or leave in a jiffy as well. Not going to point fingers at specific ones - I’m sure somewhere you’re feeling just guilty enough to know who you are without any names.

Also I don’t want to be contacted on Steam/pm with people trying to figure out who I meant, see for yourself.

These newer members' attitude towards getting a membership is actually ridiculous. Just because you used to be a member and might've done an okay job from time to time doesn't mean you can join whenever. For some reason people turn into dipshits when they leave their position, act like it's okay for a week then expects people to give a shit about them? Fuck that. Also if you have a hard time accepting the fact you didn't get accepted and struggle with the explanation they gave you, gueds what! You're not fit.
