Given that you have started the game already, I assume this is now R0 and people joining now would start on a lower life total?

Is that correct?

If so, Maki, I would have to ask you why you are looking to join now. Your life is only reduced a small amount (not enough to make this an equilibrium play) and it gives a 25% chance of additional vampires.
(assuming you do join, of course).

ok, just going to post quickly about powers, will vote later. It is still early here, but I want everyone to have time to think before sending in actions.

Investigation.

Now, of course, we want to investigate people. There are a few problems though, which we need to find solutions to if we want it to work.

  • If more than 2(at the moment) people use investigate, it will fail.
  • Anyone using investigate becomes a target if they claim it publicly ahead of time.
  • Enshroud

The first point means that, if more than 1 village player uses investigate, and the vampires know this, it will fail. Thankfully, Hater changed it so that only one vampire can use it, otherwise we would never be able to investigate.

The second point, and the one I hope to see possible solutions to here if anyone comes up with any, means that we can't publicly co-ordinate investigations. If we do, the investigator would either be killed or (assuming they are protected from damage) roleblocked.

And finally, the third point means that anyone who is investigated should also be roleblocked on that round. This further adds to the difficulty in co-ordinating an investigation, as a person can't afford both a roleblock and an investigation on starting life.

Thankfully, while investigating means that all of the above must be considered, there is something that everyone can easily do. Snoop.
This is our other way of potentially spotting vampires. While it can't clear a person, it may be able to notice any strange movements in a player's life total that may be indicative of their being a vampire.

A suspicious random vote early (compared to others voting), and I would rather try to find something, no matter how small, than go for a random vote now that there are votes everywhere.

Additionally, I would appreciate a lack of investigates (and some protection if anyone is feeling really nice) this round please so that I can.

was the one who snooped him
and since I was the one who was drained last round so I know that somebody have used this ability.
after rereading the abilities I just noticed that drain heals for the amount of damage done so the snoop+drain isn't valid anymore. still if drain was used + Unholy Retribution with the vote and the successful drain you end up with 900 health.
-100(Drain) - 200(Unholy Retribution) + 50(vote) + 150(heal from drain) = -100 health from that round

Given that I claimed to be investigating to gauge the response this round (ask rain for confirmation of this), let me put a much nicer spin on this.

-150(drained) + 50(vote) +0 (bandwagon bargain). The bargain as I expected to be taking more damage and that I would need a way to heal. And that nice little lot gives me 900 health as well.

My apologies for having not been around last night.
An unfortunate incident involving a dog and a network cable.

Wow.

You do all know there is no point voting me now, right?
I am already dead from Hemos this round.

Hello, all

First of all, please accept my apologies for my inactivity.
I am afraid I am feeling somewhat burnt out when it comes to all of this.
I had hoped that the whole S2 thing would be enough to get me more involved again, but I realised last night that it has not been.
I had thought I was already dead in this game, but found out that I was not. Otherwise, I would have played through this game before posting this.

Now, to my team, I am sorry that I have not been of much help.
To Numble, a shame that you died as you did, I shouldn't have been inactive and left you to do all the planning.
To my other partner, we have already seen how effectively our skills can misdirect people in the thread. Stay hidden and you can win this, even on your own.

Good luck.

I will be dying this round, no doubt. For real this time, not enshroud and lies.

As for the future, I do not expect to be around as much as I have been in the past, at least for a while. I know that I can't really keep up with 24h rounds in bad time-zones at the moment.
